Welcome new members
We bought this little soul red beauty in 2017. [Picture 1]
One year later (2018), we discovered there were at least 4 new soul red beauties
in our club, so we decided to add a couple of white stripes to stand out in
the crowd. [Picture 2]
A year later in 2019, we realized our white stripes really stood out because they were
crooked, so we switched our white stripes to silver. [Picture 3]
In 2021, Jim got an itch to change the whole look of the car, thus came a black car with
red chrome stripes with red rims. [Picture 4]
In 2024, both Greenzweigs had an itch for a 180 degree change and Jim picked out
the color and Kim picked out the graphics. Also added the black rims,
black wing and black louvers on the side. [Picture 5]

The Sun Riders Miata Club is sad to announce the passing of another long time member.
Paul Alberty passed away Friday, July 25th. He was 68.
Paul was a great guy and loved sailing. He was the Sun Riders unofficial BBQ tailgate chef at our Rays games events.
He and his wife Maria had a great looking 1991 Special Edition British Racing Green Miata that he was so proud of.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
The Sun Riders Miata Club says goodbye to one of it's longtime members.
On Monday, July 21st, John Paul Ostrica passed away. He was 84. We all knew him as JP.
JP and his partner, Midge joined the club in 2008.
He undoubtedly had the best looking, best sounding NC the club has ever seen.
His car had just about every option, whistle and bell you could add to a Miata.
Heads turned when he showed up at an event or meeting.
He was one of the all around nicest guys and a good friend to many.
He will be missed by all that knew him.

Jim (Flamingo Jim) Dalrymple passed away on March 3rd 2026.
Jim was a fun loving guy and one heck of a guitar player.
He loved his Grey ND.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
