Sun Riders Miata  Club of Tampa Bay

A brief summary of some of  our 2025 activities

  Jan 11th.. A group of members got together for the annual trip to Kissimmee for the Mecum Auction.  

  Jan 14th..  Our annual kickoff meeting for the new year was held again at the Bahama Breeze restaurant in Tampa. A large group of members filled the private room. New events and plans for the upcoming year were on the agenda. Check the calendar page for what's coming up !

  Feb 22nd..  Lakewood Ranch Car Show. Always a club favorite. Lunch afterwards at McGrath's Irish Pub.

  Feb 27th..  St Pete Grand Prix Weekend. What a treat this year. The club was invited by Mazda Corp to the Floridian Social in St Pete for a special kickoff party for the MX5 Cup cars and a sneak peak at the made for TV show 1st episode  First To The Finish. Food and beverage was provided and the meet and greet with the drivers was great !

  March 1st..  The club participated in the Imagine Museum annual car show. Some real beauties at this show. Lunch at Cage Brewing across the street.​

  March 9th..  Ozello Trail Ride. Lunch at Peck's Restaurant.

  March 20th,21st,22nd,23rd..  Tail of the Dragon Time !! The club met up with a couple of Georgia Clubs and spent the weekend at Fontana Village. Numerus rides through the beautiful North Georgia Mountains were just a few of the highlights of this trip.

  April 27th.. The annual club picnic. A big turnout as always. Lunch was catered by Sonny's BBQ. 

  May 18th.. A ride to the Arcadia area with lunch at the Nav-A-Gator. 

  June 4th.. Sweet Treat #1 Dairy Queen in Oldsmar.

  June 22nd.. A lunch meetup at Muzzies in Tarpon Springs.

  June 29th.. A large group of SunRiders met up at Citrus Town Center and saw the movie F1. Lunch afterwards at Red Robin.

  July 1st..  Sweet Treat #2  White Igloo in Palm Harbor.

  Aug 7th.8th,9th.. A group of SunRiders made the journey up to Miata's at the Gap. An annual event with Miata's from all over the country in attendance.

  Sept 28th..  Sweet Treat #3  Dairy Joy in Tampa. 

  Oct 5th..  A ride and lunch at Solomon's Castle in Ona Florida. It's been a while since we did this one. Lunch at the Boat in the Moat. 

  Oct. 24th, 25th and 26th..  Our annual trip to Ft Pierce for the Miata Cruise In. Held at the Summer Crush Winery, this event brings people and clubs from all over Florida. Friday Night dinner at Manatees Bar and Grill. Saturday, the show and back to the hotel for Pizza and wings. Trivia Pursuit and Catch Phrase games were on the agenda for the evening. Our club had 25 people attend this year. We're all looking forward to next years event.
