​  Jan 10th.. A large group of Sun Riders made our annual trip to Kissimmee for the Mecum Auction. Always a fun time. 

  Jan 13th..  Our annual kickoff meeting for the new year was held again at the Bahama Breeze restaurant in Tampa. A large group of members filled the private room. New events and plans for the upcoming year were on the agenda. Check the calendar page for what's coming up !

  Feb 10th..  The club is trying out a new format where we will have official club meetings every other month. On the in between months, we will meet up at different places for a group get together. February was at Cage Brewing in St Petersburg.

  Feb 28th..  Ozello Trail Ride. Or as everyone calls it, "The tail of the Gator" This is a 9 mile twisty scenic ride where we ended up at Pecks for Lunch.

  Feb 28th.. St Pete Grand Prix Weekend. The usual race funacticts of our club were in attendance. Miata's, Indy Cars, Indy Lites and Trucks... what more could a race fan want ?

We were rooting for the Lakeland Mazda #72 car.

   March 14th.. Game Show Ride 9.

Another GSR in the books. Great turnout. Great weather and great friends. Lunch at the Stonewater Grill in Land O Lakes. Congratulations to our new GSR Champions, Henry and Katy. David and Kerri, last years winners took home the 2nd place honors. And a close 3rd place goes to a couple of our newest members Corban and Helen. 

  April 11th..  Classic Mazda Orlando, Race Exhibition. A group of us went over to the dealership for a huge car show and race exhibition. Clubs from around the state showed up. What a great time we all had. Looking forward to next years event !!

  April 21st.. Sweet Treat Run Number 1.

Ice cream and dessert. Yummy. Everyone met up at the White Igloo in Palm Harbor.

  April 26th.. Annual Sun Riders Picnic. 

One again held at Philippe Park and catered by Sonny's BBQ,  50+ members attended this years event. Food, music by Lightning Jack and a Cornhole tournament were the highlight of the day.
